TechGirl is dedicated to providing access to information and communication technology (ICT) education in rural areas of Uganda. Through workshops, training sessions, and hands-on learning experiences, we equip girls with essential skills to navigate the digital landscape and contribute meaningfully to technological advancements in their communities.

Our initiative challenges societal norms and stereotypes by actively engaging and encouraging girls to pursue ICT. By breaking down gender barriers in technology, we pave the way for greater gender equality in the tech industry, fostering diversity and innovation.

TechGirl offers mentorship programs and leadership development activities to help girls build confidence and essential skills. Through these initiatives, participants are empowered to pursue their passions in the tech sector, becoming resilient leaders in their communities.
The impact of TechGirl extends beyond individual participants, benefiting the entire community of Ggomba. As girls become proficient in ICT, they drive innovation, contribute to economic development, and foster social progress in their locality, creating a ripple effect of positive change.

With continued support, TechGirl aims to empower more girls in rural Uganda and beyond. By nurturing a generation of tech-savvy and empowered young women, we anticipate significant advancements in African technology and innovation on a global scale.

Your support can make a difference in bridging the digital divide and unlocking the full potential of Africa’s future leaders and innovators. Thank you for the initiatives! In the past, girls were leftout and were thought about as an inferior in the community! Today in Africa they have a chance to shine. Thank you Novus Terra Digital Hub!
